Pigging out at Saisaki's

Last Saturday, decided to indulge ourselves in some Japanese delights. Venue: The much talked-about Saisaki Buffet in the heart of KL's Golden Triangle. Just situated right behind my former office.

Whoa...this is the best spread of buffet I have tried. The selection, the ambience, the service, the location and the price baffled me.No wonder the crowd is always there.

The selection was awesome, a fusion of local, Chinese and Japanese cuisine.

Apart from the usual sushis, sashimis, teppanyakis, they even have Peking Duck, sharks' fin soup to satisfy our tastebuds.

For a session of pigging out, it costs only RM48.00++ a person. It's a steal.

Walking in without a reservation is definite no-no.

There was this uncle in front of me, asking the reception repeatedly. "No place already ah.., really no place ah.."Man, of course not. C'mon this is a Saturday evening.

Had to go n evening to 'expedite' the digestion..

Enjoyable evening no doubt, save for the rain.

Appetite for Disaster Movies - Sinking of Japan

Went for this movie The Sinking of Japan, the special effects are good but sti of ll unable rival the American CGI effects. Pretty much expected storyline. Cliched. One man's heroic effort to save the mankind, the Japanese of course.
In the middle, the story gets draggy and a bit melodramatic at the end. A must for disaster movies, I guess

Seeds of Wisdom

Thursday night was most unexpected.
Was at KKBC for a different purpose but ended participating in a discussion called "Emptiness".
Joined the session three-quarter way ( not even halfway) received a few insights to ponder about. An interesting session no doubt, creating opportunities for everybody to share.

A bunch of complete strangers who blended well with each other sowing the seeds of wisdom.

First Post of The New Year

Yes, it's 2007.

My first post of the the year.
Resolutions..I'll keep it to myself.
Maybe to procrastinate less.

Hopefully, with all those disturbing news in 2006, 2007 should make a turn for the better.

Better still if we have General Elections this year.

Then we will have a great show in store.

The Greatest Show On Earth.

Those morons and clowns will definitely get their asses kicked big time.
